Conceived as a concept album, it tells the tale of Koledo, the winter spirit and ruler of frozen lands, guiding the listener through cycles of frost, decay, rebirth and spiritual struggle across the turning of the year. Built on hypnotic structures, icy melodies and a meditative, ritualistic pace, the album evokes vast snow-covered landscapes, forgotten legends and the eternal coexistence of life and death. Part of the material was written during the band’s earliest years and preserved for this very purpose, lending the record an authentic and timeless aura. Cassette edition limited to 66 copies.
